The Touch Premium Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is a wholly recognisable varietal wine, yet at the same time atypical. Rarely do we find, with this variety, harmonious and balanced wines that are a blend of various styles and approaches, and this is exactly that. It is straw-yellow in colour with a greenish tint that suggests freshness. The intensity of the nose is moderate, but very layered. Without obtrusive pyrazine tones, and with only gently present notes of nettle and tomato leaf, its broad aromatic spectrum is defined by aromas of grapefruit, lemon, green apple, mint and elderflower. The aromas carry over onto the palate in kind. It is rich on the palate, shot through with pronounced citrus acidity that appears in the finish as juiciness, making the mouth water and calling for the next sip. Medium to full-bodied, it easily carries its well-integrated 13% alcohol. The finish is long and memorable.
A gastronomically very versatile wine that will pair beautifully with spring dishes such as various risottos of asparagus, mushrooms or wild garlic, boiled ham with eggs and horseradish, smoked salmon, young goat’s cheese…
